Bull riding, barrel racing, and big trucks—the cornerstones, some might argue, on which this nation was founded. Just in time for Independence Day weekend, the Ram Rodeo Series will sponsor the Doug Stanford Memorial Rodeo at the Haywood County Fairgrounds in Waynesville. At 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, July 5-6, rodeo fans will be able to witness modern-day cowboys and cowgirls as they stare down two tons of hooves and horns as if to say, “Big deal.”
And should you tire of the timeless conflict between man and beast, Waynesville Automotive will be there with the newest Ram Trucks for your test driving pleasure. You can even enter into the 2013 Ram Rodeo National Sweepstakes for a chance to win $45,000 toward your very own Ram Truck. If you’d rather take home your very own bull…well, that’s between you and the bull.
The Ram Rodeo Series has been bringing professional rodeos to cities and towns across the United States for over 30 years, helping to keep the traditions of roping and racing alive.
