The most recent available tax records include new information that Duke Energy Progress Inc. is acquiring properties on and around New Rockwood road in the Limestone area of south Buncombe county. The power company paid $3,419,000 to two different parties for five properties totaling 11.2 acres. The properties are just south of the Lake Julian facility.
