From a press release:
Using common materials such as paper, colored pencils and markers, this personal mandala-making workshop will offer participants the tools to connect mind, body and environment on a daily basis. Instructor Theo Windish is an artist and art therapist candidate at Georgia College & State University. Theo also works at a school called GNETS (Georgia Network for Education and Therapeutic Support), which is a school that seeks to help children with behavioral and emotional challenges. Through a variety of techniques, Theo’s main goal in the Mandala Today workshop is to empower the individual to believe in themselves, to explore their own strengths and learn how to use the mind to overcome obstacles.
