Our Planet in Balance: Bees, Fungi and Man forum to be held by Center for Honeybee Research

A special single day forum looking at facets of the threats to Earth’s ecological systems will be hosted in Clyde, NC by the Asheville based Center for Honeybee Research on Saturday, September 26. Five researchers and activists will speak on their areas of expertise in the science of food supply and pollinators, Paul Stamets, Melanie KirbyDr. Don HuberDr. Jay Evans and Dr. Steve Sheppard.

The event will be exploring the likelihood of engineering solutions and the possibility of discovering, in nature, helpful ways of treating the problems facing bees.

Date: Saturday September 26, 2015
Time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Place: Charles Beale Auditorium, Haywood Community College, Clyde NC
Cost: $55 per person (2 for $100) pre-registered, $75 at door if available
