Adam Booth show and story-writing workshop, Aug. 17 and 18

It’s my pleasure to invite you to both events! ADAM BOOTH with Vixi Jil Glen for MOUNTAIN STORIES! at the Buffalo Nickel on Wednesday August 17th AND!

ADAM BOOTH’s story-writing workshop, “Mining The Fool’s Gold, turning your personal family stories into TALL TALES,!” at Lenoir-Rhyne University on Thursday August 18th (6-9pm)

Adam has been featured at the National Storytelling Festival and the International Storytelling Center and has received numerous standing ovations! He’s an “old soul” storyteller from West Virginia who is passionate about Mountain Stories and the ways of his Appalachian ancestors. On THURSDAY evening, Adam will present a story-writing workshop at Lenoir-Rhyne University, sponsored in part by the Thomas Wolfe Center for Narrative and the Asheville Storytelling Circle. 6pm-9pm (Bring a family story) You’ll learn Adam’s techniques on turning a personal, family story into a TALL TALE with making characters larger than life!
