IamAVL announces second season of ‘Echo Sessions’ on North Carolina channel

Independent Arts and Music Asheville (IamAVL) is excited to announce their second season of Echo Sessions airs this fall on UNC-TV’s North Carolina Channel. This flagship series begins airing across the state on Saturday September 2, 2017 at 9:30pm EST.

Hosted in the famed Echo Mountain Recording Studio, Echo Sessions is a unique musical experience that blends the magic of a live performance with the comfort and intimacy of a studio session. This past year, UNC-TV started the North Carolina Channel, to share ‘stories with a local accent’. IamAVL is eager to continue producing the Echo Sessions experience for music lovers across the state! Last season, Echo Sessions reached over 250,000 households during UNC-TV’s Saturday Night air time.

Echo Sessions Season 2 will feature local artists The Fritz and The Broadcast, as well as national acts like Leftover Salmon and The Eric Krasno Band. This season will span the genres of Reggae, Soul, Funk, Irish Folk, Bluegrass, Swing and much more. Each band brings their own flavor and style into the studio, and IamAVL and UNC-TV bring that studio experience directly to you!
