Press release from the Hendersonville Police Department:
The Hendersonville Police Department is seeking information on the identity of an armed robbery suspect.
At approximately 4pm on April 28, 2019, the Hendersonville Police Department received a call about an attempted armed robbery at the Sunoco gas station located at 104 Sugarloaf Rd. The suspect entered the gas station, produced a handgun and told the clerk to give him money. The suspect fired one shot before leaving the gas station on foot. No injuries were sustained, and no money was taken during the unsuccessful robbery.
The suspect is described as a white male with medium build and shoulder length brown hair. He has a beard and was wearing dark glasses, a black hoodie, blue jeans and light-colored tennis shoes.
If the public has any information on the armed robbery or the suspect’s identity, they are asked to call the Hendersonville Police Department at (828) 697-3025.
