What:
Their community survey window may have closed, but that doesn’t mean the Asheville City Board of Education is finished engaging with our students, staff and stakeholders during their Superintendent Search process.
In fact, they’re hosting six Community Forums throughout the month of August.
Public input forums are scheduled from 5:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on these dates:
- Thursday, August 01, 2019 at Asheville Middle School
- Wednesday, August 07, 2019 at Ira B. Jones Elementary School
- Monday, August 12, 2019 at Montford North Star Academy
- Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Arthur Eddington Center
- Monday, August 26, 2019 at Hall Fletcher Elementary School
- Thursday, August 29, 2019 at North Asheville Library
The Board is looking forward to meeting with our community, hearing their insight and learning what characteristics are most desired as they look to hire the best, long-term fit for our students, staff members, families and Asheville community at large.

The first is set for Thursday, August 1st.
- Doors will open at 5:15 PM.
- Facilitators will begin promptly at 5:30 PM.
