All Buncombe County parks are open regular hours with current guidelines on Wednesday, Nov. 11.
Veterans Day Virtual Ceremony
The City of Asheville Mayor’s Committee for Veterans’ Affairs invites the community to a virtual Veterans Day Ceremony, to be streamed live on the City’s YouTube channel at 11 a.m., Nov. 11, from Council Chambers, Asheville City Hall.
Co-sponsored by the Charles George VA Medical Center, Buncombe County Veterans Council, and the City of Asheville, the 45-minute ceremony will feature introductory and closing remarks by U.S. Air Force Vietnam Veteran Allan Perkal, chairman of the Buncombe County Veterans Council. Read more here.
