Press release from Asheville Police Department:
Asheville Police are investigating a shooting in which multiple rounds were shot into occupied homes in South Asheville. Thankfully, no one was injured; only property damage has been reported at this time.
Officers responded to the 300 block of Brooklyn Road to investigate reports of gun discharge around 12:43 a.m. on May 25th. When officers arrived, the suspects were no longer on the scene. While canvassing the area, officers located 46 shell casings and damage from the gunshots to three properties, including two homes and two vehicles.
