If you’ve been holding out for the ticketed portion of the Bele Chere Festival (reggae legends The Wailers with Third World on Friday, July 25 and country star Travis Tritt with Steve Azar on Saturday, July 26) here’s some incentive: The City of Asheville is offering a four-pack promotion.
Here’s how it works. Tickets for the Wailers show run $15 in advance. Buy four tickets (that’s a double date, or a nuclear family, or a set of quadruplets) and pay $45. It’s kind of a buy three-get-one-free deal.
Tickets for the Travis Tritt concerts are $20 in advance, but the promotional price for four will run you $65. Okay, not quite a a buy three-get-one-free deal, but you’ve got enough change left over for several funnel cakes.
Both events are held at Memorial Stadium behind McCormick Field and tickets can be purchased here, here, any Ticketmaster outlet, the Asheville Civic Center Box Office or by calling 251-5505.
