Mountain Jam at the Feed & Seed

It’s all about the music at the Feed & Seed. And on Tuesdays, get your fill of pickin’ and singin’ (and dancin’, if you’re so inclined) with Will Ray’s Mountain Jam. The weekly event features bluegrass outfit Sons of Ralph and Will Ray of guitar group the Hellecasters. The music goes from 7:30 – 9:30 p.m. at the Feed & Seed, 3715 Hendersonville Rd., in Fletcher.

“The band will provide amps, drums, a PA and even guitars for anyone that wants to play/sing cover tunes or original material,” writes Charles Magoffin. “It’s a great opportunity for local musicians to jam with the professionals. Will and the Sons will perform their own original music, too. The Feed & Seed never charges a cover and while donations are appreciated, they’re not expected.”

More from Magoffin:

“The Jam is videotaped and aired weekly on URTV (Charter channel 20) as a 60-minute show. Each week a song is highlighted from a guest artist and featured on TV, YouTube, FaceBook, and Vimeo. The artist will also receive a complimentary DVD of the show.”
