Local musician Martin Snoddy is both a student of the piano and a writer of rhymes. The latter he performs with stunningly rhythmic fluidity. And exuberance. And infectious beats.
Snoddy also blogs (also fluidly, exuberantly and infectiously). His entries are probably not intended for the sensitive or easily offended, but Snoddy is energetically forthcoming about his experiences, his ups and downs, his projects, interests and inspirations. “So yo, I got madd shit droppin in 2013,” he wrote last week. “I got a project with THUH YOUNG POLLOCK Mikey Kotz and then a SOLO joint droppin. Which I’m thinkin rhythmically, harmonically, melodically, and verbally will all be BONKERS!!”
