The Whigs Bele Chere podcast

The Whigs have been touring internationally with the likes of Kings of Leon, The Black Keys, Hold Steady and Band of Skulls. They’ve also appeared on the late shows of Leno, Letterman, Conan and Jimmys Fallon and Kimmel. So how do they go from all that to Bele Chere’s Coxe Ave stage this Friday (8 p.m.)? Front man Parker Gispert talks about how The Whigs are happy for any chance to play Asheville. He also drops a few hints about the band’s upcoming album and we can expect to hear from them at Bele Chere.

Song clips on this podcast include “Written Invitation” from Give ‘Em All A Big Fat Lip and “I Don’t Event Care About The One I Love” from In The Dark.
