Local troupe Trillium Dance Company (known for choreographed performance pieces as well as adding ambiance to events) is hard at work perfecting the moves of Rites of Summer. That production takes the stage at New Mountain on Saturday, June 27.

The show includes performances by The Fox & Beggar Theater with music from Starseed, Morphonic, Earthtone Soundsystem and MeltYum. The entertainment continues offstage, too, with “Inspiration Stations” such as a tea service, a photo booth and “Jagua tattoos by the fabulous Fire and Earth body artists.”

Rites of Summer is a dynamic collaboration of visionaries, performance artists, DJs and dancers,” says the Facebook invite for the show. It’s “an evening designed to delight all your senses.” 10 p.m. $10 advance/$13 doors.
