In celebration of this weekend’s DIG Festival (read the Xpress story here) — at eight venues throughout downtown Asheville, Friday and Saturday, Aug. 22 and 23 — This week’s playlist gets an early release. And the songs are culled from six of the more than 40 bands performing at DIG.
• “Master Plan” by Doc Aquatic, who performs on Saturday at Asheville Music Hall, 10 p.m.
• “Excuse Me” by The Mobros — they’ll be at Wicked Weed Brewing tonight (Friday), 9:30 p.m.
• “Trouble” by Red Honey, who takes the stage at One Stop on Saturday, 10:45 p.m.
• “Something in the Water” by Leigh Glass — she’ll play 5 Walnut on Saturday, 10:15 p.m.
• “Cold in March” by Warm the Bell, who performs at The Social Lounge tonight, 9:15 p.m.
• “Belomorkanal” by Sirius.B — they’ll put in an appearance at The Orange Peel tonight, 9:15 p.m.
