10 regional school choirs bring holiday cheer to AVL airport

From Asheville Regional Airport:

(Asheville, N.C.)
For those traveling through Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) during the holidays, 10 regional school choral groups will be spreading cheer during the “Sounds of the Holidays” singing program. Each year choirs are invited to perform holiday music in the airport for the enjoyment of travelers, visitors and employees alike.

“This is one of those feel-good events where we can invite the community into the airport and celebrate the season,” said Tina Kinsey, director of marketing and public relations. “Traveling during the holidays should not be stressful and when our visitors hear these local chorus groups we hope they relax and enjoy their time in the Airport even more.”
