ABYSA announces fall soccer programs

In a press release, Asheville Buncombe Youth Soccer Association announces its fall programs:

ABYSA TOPSoccer for Athletes with Exceptional Needs: run through Sept 15

ABYSA TOPSoccer is a community based soccer program for young athletes with exceptional needs ages 5-18.  The emphasis of this program is on development, training, and meaningful participation rather than on competition. ABYSA’s goal is to enable young athletes with disabilities to develop their physical fitness, technical skills, courage, and self-esteem, through the joy and excitement of the game of soccer.  You can register a child easily on our website at www.abysa.org.  The cost of the program is $20.00 and each player will receive a uniform.  The program will end with a fun day and pizza party with a medal for each child.  Season begins Sept and runs through November. For questions please contact Shane Weems at shane@abysa.org

ABYSA Fall 2016 Recreation Soccer Registration still open: run through September 1st, 2016

ABYSA Fall Recreation Soccer’s Late Registration period is still open. ABYSA Recreation Soccer is WNC’s most robust soccer program serving 2500 children each season.  Teams are now forming in a neighborhood near you.  Programs available for children age 4-18 (Season runs Sept-November).  Both boys and girls leagues in all age groups.  Teams are formed by school and/or geography which allow practices to be close to home.  Participating families should expect a call from their coach in Late August to be invited out to practice starting the first week of September.  Online registration is quick and easy at www.abysa.org.  Create an account and register your child today! For questions please contact, Gary Tittle at recsoccer@abysa.org

ABYSA Fundamentals Summer Soccer Camps are available all summer: run through August 10th

ABYSA FUNdamentals Soccer Camps are offering 8 separate weeks of soccer fun for children 5-14 over the summer. The FUNdamentals teaching method is designed to enrich children’s passion for soccer while teaching them the proper techniques and concepts for future success.  Half day camps are available for 5 and 6 year old players (9am-12pm) and full day camps for 7-14 year old players (9am -4pm).  Early Bird drop off and lunch is available for those parents on the go.  FUNdamentals staff is made up of former professional and college players and coaches.  Campers will be placed in proper age groups to ensure all players benefit from developmentally appropriate activities, teaching, and competition.   To register, please visit www.abysa.org.  For questions please contact, Shane Weems at shane@abysa.org.
