APD asks for assistance identifying armed robbery suspect

From Asheville Police Department:

Yesterday (Monday, May 17) afternoon at approximately 3:30 p.m. the Asheville Police Department responded to reports of an armed robbery at Telco Community Credit Union (36 Tunnel Road). The suspect entered the bank, passed a note to the teller demanding money and displayed a knife. He then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’10”-6’0’ tall, with sandy/red hair. There were no reported injuries.

A suspect matching this description and modus operandi (MO) robbed a bank in Greenville, South Carolina on Friday, May 13, 2016.
