APD requests assistance to locate missing juvenile

Press release from Asheville Police Department: 

UPDATE: Baker has been safely located.

The Asheville Police Department is requesting the assistance of the public in locating a missing juvenile, Safferon Baker. Baker was last seen in the Roosevelt Street area of north Asheville at approximately 5 p.m. on April 11.

Safferon is described as a 13 year old white female, 5 feet tall, brown shoulder-length hair, and light blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a green jacket with pink trim on the hood, a black shirt with gold writing, black shorts, and carrying a black, blue and white Adidas backpack. She was also riding a black bicycle with several stickers.

If anyone has information on the whereabouts of Safferon Baker, they are encouraged to contact the Asheville Police Department at (828)252-1110 or Asheville-Buncombe Crimestoppers at (828)255-5050 if they wish to remain anonymous.
