Southern Mountains Homeless Coalition co-hosts family homelessness forum

Press release from The Southern Mountains Homeless Coalition:

The Southern Mountains Homeless Coalition in partnership with SchoolHouse Connect and the NC Coalition to End Homelessness is hosting a forum focusing on family homelessness with particular attention to the needs of infants, toddlers, preschoolers, school-aged children and youth.

When: Monday, April 29, 2019 from 9-noon

Where: Eleanora W. Melon Community Education Room at Blue Ridge Community Health Center, located at 2579 Chimney Rock Road, Hendersonville, N.C. 28792

Who should attend: Anyone who serves children, youth or families in Henderson, Rutherford, Polk or Transylvania counties who may at times experience homelessness (housing, early childhood, child care, school, medical, mental health providers, etc., or anyone interested in helping this population).

It is free and we will provide coffee/tea, drinks, and snacks!
