APD seeking public assistance on early morning break-in

Press release from Asheville Police Department:

The Asheville Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects they believe are responsible for an early morning break-in of businesses on Charlotte Street.

APD officers responded to a business alarm near the 130 block of Charlotte Street around 1:43 a.m. on Sept. 12. Upon arrival, officers located a shattered glass door and window. Officers canvassed the inside of the business and were unable to locate the suspects.

Detectives have been diligently investigating and working with business owners. Surveillance footage from the business shows two hooded suspects, and police are hoping someone may be able to identify him.

Police say a cash drawer, money, and a safe were reported stolen.
