APD seeks assistance in West Asheville sexual assault case

Press release from the Asheville Police Department:

Asheville Police Department detectives are investigating a sexual assault that occurred on May 14, 2018, at
approximately 3:30 a.m. in the area of the 60 block of Virginia Ave in West Asheville. There are several leads being followed, including forensic evidence. APD requests the public’s assistance to bolster this case and bring it to a timely conclusion. If anyone has information regarding this incident, they are encouraged to contact the Asheville Police Department at (828) 252-1110 or Crime Stoppers at (288) 255-5050.
