Assistance Needed Identifying Credit Card Fraud Suspects
Asheville, NC (Date): The Asheville Police Department is requesting public assistance to identify two suspects involved in credit card fraud. On March 10th, at approximately 2:00 p.m., the victim noticed that her wallet was missing. Fraudulent charges on the victim’s card were placed at Best Buy (83 S. Tunnel Road), Target (115 River Hills Road) and Walmart (125 Bleachery Blvd.) between the hours of 2:43 p.m. and 3:11 p.m.
Security footage obtained from the stores shows images of the two suspects and the vehicle they were believed to be operating at the time. If anyone has any information on the identification of these individuals they are encouraged to contact the Asheville Police Department at (828) 252-1110 or Buncombe County Crime Stoppers at (828) 255-5050.
