From the Asheville Police Department:
Asheville – The Asheville Police Department responded to 147 Birch Lane in Arden today after receiving 911 calls describing a shooting. Officers arrived and found a male and female deceased in the driveway from apparent gunshot wounds. The suspect was also on the scene and he was taken into custody.
The names of the deceased and the name of the suspect are not being released at this time. Investigators and Forensic services are processing the scene. Additional information will be released as it becomes available in the form of an updated press release.
