Due to a forecast of cold weather, Code Purple is called Friday-Sunday, March 11-13, 2022.
Bus fare to and from shelter will continue at no cost.
Code Purple locations are:
- ABCCM Costello House for men, 141 Hillside St., Asheville (4 p.m.- throughout the night in addition to law enforcement and paramedic escorts after hours) A shuttle will be available between, 4:30-5:30 p.m., @ 24 Cumberland Ave. 828-259-5314
- Salvation Army for women and children only, 6-7 p.m. Law enforcement or paramedic escort allowed after hours) 828-253-4723
- Trinity United Methodist Church, 587 Haywood Rd. Asheville, is available for vulnerable people who are unable to access other options. Entry for overnights is 5-7 p.m. Law enforcement or paramedics can bring guests after hours. 828-490-0444
