Press release from Asheville Fringe Arts Festival:
The Asheville Fringe Arts Festival is gearing up for its edgiest festival yet. We are seeking to feature artists who are creating bold, new work in the spirit of experimentation and taking risks. Now in its 17th year, Asheville Fringe will expand to a full week long, adding artist panels, workshops and even more Random Acts of Fringe to its exciting schedule.
To apply, artists should visit the Artist Information page on our website: http://www.ashevillefringe.org/get-involved/artist-information/
Artists need to submit an Artist Application and a Tech Form, and will also need to read our *brand new* Performer Guidelines. Applications are available from now until Sunday, September 23 at 9:23pm.
To learn more about the festival itself, please visit the main page of our website at www.ashevillefringe.org. For questions, please email ashevillefringe@gmail.com and one of our staff will respond as quickly as possible.
As always, we seek to create a festival line-up that includes dance, puppetry, storytelling, performance art, theatre, and all things that blur the lines between these art forms. Artists should feel encouraged to bring their most daring work, and will find full support from the Asheville Fringe Family.
Fringe provides a space and time for artists to share their artistic voice.
