We need a little help for our furry friends! Summer is always a busy time at Asheville Humane Society, and this year we’ve faced new challenges amid COVID-19. We always see more animals come through our doors in the summer months, but with limited appointment slots, it’s taking longer for them to find their forever homes… And our Shelter is FULL of animals waiting to get their spot on the Adoption floor! So, to help these deserving pets meet their new families as soon as possible, adoption fees are $10 for ALL pets through the end of Summer!

Please follow these steps to schedule your visit:
Step 1: View adoptable animals on our website. (Check back frequently! Animals continue to move through our system and appear on our website once they are ready for adoption.)
Step 2: Please email us at customerservice@ashevillehumane.org if you have questions or are interested in meeting a certain animal!
Step 3: Receive a response within 72 hours. Our adoption counselors are working hard to make matches and will be in touch to answer your questions, and to schedule an appointment. Please be aware that we have limited appointment slots available, and will do our best to schedule your meet-and-greet as soon as possible!
