Asheville Humane Society offers $4 adoptions

Asheville Humane Society is reducing adoption fees to $4.00 for all dogs over 25 pounds and all cats and kittens for their Fantastic Furry Frenzy adoption promotion presented by Prestige Subaru. This deal runs from Black Friday, November 25th through Saturday, November 26th from 10 AM until 6 PM.

“We are excited to provide our community with priceless love during two of the biggest shopping days of the year,” said Tracy Elliott, Executive Director of Asheville Humane Society. “We hope this will be a successful start to finding all of our animals loving homes for the holidays!”

The $4.00 adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, a microchip with free 1-year registration, all up-to-date vaccines, a free starter bag of pet food, and a free office visit with a participating veterinarian. Potential adopters can preview the available pets online at ashevillehumane.org or visit with them at Asheville Humane Society, 14 Forever Friend Lane, just off Brevard Road near the WNC Farmer’s Market.

When:  November 25 – 26, Friday – Saturday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

(Dog and cat rooms will be closed for Naptime from 1-2 PM daily.)

Where:  Adoption and Education Center, 14 Forever Friend Lane

(just off Brevard Road, south of the WNC Farmers Market)

Why:  To find as many homes as possible for homeless animals in need
