UPDATE (May 4, 2020): Peak has been safely located.
Press release from Asheville Police Department (dated May 1):
The Asheville Police Department is requesting assistance to locate a missing juvenile, Deasianette Kierra Peak. Peak was last seen on April 26 at the Asheville Rides Transit (ART) Station located at 49 Coxe Avenue. She was last seen wearing pink leggings and black boots.
Deasianette Peak is described as a black female, 17 years old, 5’4, and 145 pounds. She has brown/black hair, but she could possibly be wearing a pink wig. She has a birthmark above her right ankle.
There is a possibility that she could be in the areas of downtown Asheville or Bartlett Arms.
If anyone has any information on the location of Desasianette Kierra Peak they are encouraged to contact the Asheville Police Department at (828) 252-1110 or Asheville-Buncombe Crime Stoppers at (828) 255-5050, if they wish to remain anonymous.
