The Asheville Police Department (APD) is asking for information on a shooting that occurred on February 17 at approximately 7:25 p.m. on South French Broad Avenue. Detectives have identified several persons of interest and are continuing to investigate.
The shooting occurred in the parking lot of an apartment complex on South French Broad Avenue. The victim, who was in a vehicle when the shooting occurred, drove himself to the area of Pack Square. Officers working in the area located the victim, a 29 year old male, inside the vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Mission Hospital where he remains in critical, but stable condition.
