Press release from Buncombe County government:
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Buncombe County and surrounding areas. Due to the potential for a significant accumulations of ice, Buncombe County Government offices and parks will open at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 18. Vaccine sites at A-B Tech and A.C. Reynolds will remain closed for the entire day. Buncombe County Libraries will open as usual at 1 p.m. The Landfill and Transfer Station will open at 8 a.m. Emergency and mandated services will remain open.
