Asheville police investigating shooting of occupied dwelling, residents uninjured

Press release from APD:

Asheville Police are investigating a Tuesday night apparent drive-by shooting in which someone shot multiple rounds in the west Asheville home. There were four residents inside the home, including three children, but fortunately, no one was injured.

APD Patrol Officers responded to a home on Deaverview Road to investigate a report of gun discharge around 10:37 p.m. on July 25. When officers arrived, the suspect was no longer on the scene. Officers canvassed the residence and found damage from the gunshots to a window and interior wall. They also found five shell casings.
