Asheville Police are investigating an apparent drive-by shooting in which someone shot multiple rounds into an apartment. There were residents inside the home, including children, but fortunately, no one was injured.
APD Patrol Officers responded around 2:39 a.m. to the 60 block of Bingham Road to investigate reports of gun discharge into an occupied dwelling. Officers canvassed the residence and found damage from the gunshots to windows, and the upstairs bedroom, where a resident was sleeping. They also found multiple shell casings outside of the residence.
