PRESS RELEASE:
The City of Asheville Transit Planning Division is discontinuing service to Warren Wilson College due to a loss of funding and considering other changes to the Asheville Redefines Transit (ART) bus Route 170 to Black Mountain. Some of the other possible changes to the ART Route 170 include:
Reducing the number of trips to Black Mountain.
Changing the times and locations of stops.
· The City would like to hear your feedback to help guide the decision-making process.
There will be a public meeting to gather input from 4 to 7 p.m. July 12 at Black Mountain City Hall, 160 Midland Ave., Black Mountain. If you cannot attend the public meeting, you can also submit your input through an online survey on Open City Hall Asheville. Please complete the survey below to better inform public officials of your transportation needs. Take the survey at Open City Hall Asheville. The survey will be open through July 15.

Why non’t get Asheville an Black Mountain both fund ,for bus and Warren Wilson get a Grant to get money to make the bus route better .
