From a press release:

In the American business vernacular, the “power lunch” is the time when business connections, discussions and decisions come together. On Friday, Nov. 14, the “power lunch” takes on an even greater meaning: it becomes a powerful fundraising launch to benefit Junior Achievement (JA) of Western North Carolina. Asheville’s business movers and shakers are invited to enjoy an informal business lunch at Atlanta Bread, 633 Merrimon Avenue, from the hours of 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., and Jill Fisher, Atlanta Bread’s local owner, will donate 10% of all sales to JA. The event is open to the public.

Supporting Junior Achievement was an easy decision, notes Jill Fisher. “My children benefited from JA while attending Asheville schools and my company literally caters to the business customer. Atlanta Bread has long been the place where people have sales meetings, informal coffee introductions, job interviews and brainstorming sessions. It seemed only natural that Atlanta Bread – Asheville partner with THE local not-for-profit which helps our students learn about business and the free enterprise system.”
