Authors Robert Morgan and Wayne Caldwell discuss Appalachia, March 5

Robert Morgan and Wayne Caldwell:
An Afternoon in Appalachia

Please join noted Western North Carolina authors Robert Morgan
(Gap Creek, The Road from Gap Creek, and Boone: A Biography among others) and Wayne Caldwell (Cataloochee and Requiem By Fire) as they discuss how Appalachian place, history and culture made these writers who they are. In addition Morgan and Caldwell will offer readings from recent writings and works in progress. Questions from the audience will be encouraged.

The program will begin at 2:00pm on Saturday, March 5, 2016

General Public – $5.00 donation requested
WNCHA members – free

Asheville’s Malaprop’s Book Store will be at the program offering a selection of Morgan and Caldwell’s novels and poetry for purchase.
