BeLoved Asheville to Host Fiesta and gratitude events for Thanksgiving week

Wednesday, Nov. 27, 10:30 am, Elders Free Farmers Market, 36 Grove Street, Asheville, NC 28801

Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28, 10 North Market St., 28801 4-6 p.m., Community Thanksgiving Celebration. A Thanksgiving Celebration for the entire community and especially for those struggling with hunger, homelessness, or loneliness

Each year, BeLoved Asheville, a local non-profit, hosts a Fiesta to share food, friendship, and gratitude for Thanksgiving. This year, we will be celebrating our 10th Gratitude Gathering.

BeLoved also hosts a weekly free farmers markets for elders in our community. We will hold a special market on the Wednesday prior to Thanksgiving. It is so important to honor elders and to make sure they have healthy fresh food to eat.

The full community is invited to our Thanksgiving Day Fiesta, a table of welcome and gratitude to share a meal together. The gathering will feature home-made authentic Mexican food, a celebration honoring indigenous people, expressions of gratitude, and music! Everyone in the community is welcome to the feast, remembrance and celebration.
