Book Launch party for new children’s book, Tippy Finds His Purpose by Mary Beth Stevens

 It’s National Rescue Dog Day, Thursday, May 20 and Mountain Page Press is hosting a book launch for Mary Beth Stevens, local author of children’s book, Tippy Finds His Purpose. Stevens will read the book, introduce you to Tippy, her real rescue dog, answer questions, and sign purchased copies for grandparents, parents, rescue dog organizations, and teachers to read to children. Kids will learn what it means to feel different and search for a purpose all their own through Tippy’s latest adventure.

Where: Hendersonville Community Theater, 229 S. Washington St. Hendersonville, NC 28792 (Plenty of off-street parking!)

Time: 1:00pm

“Your favorite rescue dog explores the world of working dogs while he looks for a purpose of his very own,” says Stevens.

Bonuses for attendees:

· The first 20 people to enter will receive a goody bag filled with dog treats from Wag! Unique Pet Boutique and bird food from Wild Birds Unlimited, both Hendersonville local businesses.

· Tippy’s first book, Tippy Finds a Home will be for sale at a package rate combined with Tippy Finds His Purpose.

· There will be a surprise contest at the launch, and the winner will get a free copy of both Tippy books.
