BOOKS FOR GOOD PLANS SUMMER READING SALE ON JUNE 3-4

Books for Good, an all-volunteer nonprofit organization in Fletcher that sells items to benefit donor-specified charities, is holding its Summer Reading Sale on Friday and Saturday, June 3 and 4. More than 50,000 adult and children’s books, CDs, and DVDs will be available at a 25 percent discount, except for gift cards. Sale hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.
Books for Good was established in 2013, and the store opened the following year. Since then, it has distributed about $24,300 to more than 70 regional and national charities.
Books for Good is located at 50 Heritage Park Drive in Fletcher behind the Subway at the intersection of Butler Bridge Road and Highway 25. Regular store hours are Mondays through Fridays from 12 to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Volunteers can look up authors and book titles for customers as well as order items which are not available in the store. For further information, contact Books for Good at (828) 989-4655, or visit its website, booksforgood.net.
