Building our City Speaker Series features Mitchell J. Silver on Nov. 13

Please join us for our next event in the Building our City Speaker Series event with renowned planner and urbanist, Commissioner Mitchell J. Silver who has lead the New York City Parks Department since 2014. The event will take place on Tuesday, November 13 from
6-7pm at The Capital Club at 82 Patton Avenue, with doors opening at 5:30pm.

His lecture will focus on the impact of planning and placemaking on physical and mental wellbeing. He will also share insights from a variety of projects during his role in New York, such as the Community Parks Equity Initiative, Parks without Borders, and Cool Pools and Creative Courts.

All Building Our City events are free, and are open to all members of the community, but space is limited. Tickets are available here. Doors open at 5:30pm and the presentation will begin at 6pm.
