Buncombe County Board of Commissioners reschedules special called meeting

A special called meeting of the Buncombe County Board of Commissioners initially scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 11 was postponed because county officials hadn’t given proper notice for the meeting, according to Chair Brownie Newman. The meeting is rescheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13, as detailed in the following release.

Notice is hereby given that the Buncombe County Board of Commissioners has called a special meeting beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2024  in order to discuss a personnel matter.  This meeting will be conducted in open session in the First Floor Conference Room of 200 College Street in Downtown Asheville. Additionally, this meeting will be streamed to the County’s Facebook page.
