Buncombe County services change locations

From Buncombe County:

October 12,  the County Veterans Assistance Offices will move to 199 College Street.  (Parking will be in the County Parking Garage located at 164 College Street in Downtown Asheville.) Their phone number will remain the same, 250-5726.

October 19 the Cooperative Extension Office will open at 49 Mt Carmel Road, Suite 20, Asheville 28806.  Their phone number will remain 255-5522.

October 26 the County Vital Records Office will open at 199 College Street. (Parking will be in the County Parking Garage located at 164 College Street in Downtown Asheville.)  Their phone number will remain 250-5214.

On October 26 and 27 the Register of Deeds will be closed while they move to 205 College Street.  They will reopen on October 28. (Parking will be in the County Parking Garage located at 164 College Street in Downtown Asheville.) Their phone number will remain the same, 250-4300.

WNC Air Quality offices have already relocated to 125 South Lexington Avenue, Suite 101, Asheville, NC 28801. The entrance is on Hilliard Avenue in between Church Street and South Lexington Avenue.  Their phone number, 250-6777, has not changed.
