Press release from Primal Studios:

On Sunday, Sept. 9, at 10:30am, Primal Studios will host Buti Brunch: Radical Self-Love Event, a free Buti Yoga class to benefit the Carolina Resource Center for Disordered Eating. The class is a 60-minute, music-driven blend of yoga, tribal dance, and plyometrics that has a connecting effect for participants, inspiring self-love and creating a non-judgmental, supportive community. Special guest DJ G3ms will be spinning a set of house, tribal, and hip-hop music. All are welcome! Expect a fun, high-intensity, lead-and-follow practice, plus invitations to activate self-love and bliss. Pre-registration via Primal Studios Mind Body is required.

Asheville businesses have contributed a variety of prizes for a raffle, which will benefit the Carolina Resource Center for Eating Disorders (CRC for ED). Donations will also be accepted via cash or card. The organization has served WNC as ‘T.H.E. Center for Disordered Eating’ since 2004. With their new name, they remain the only nonprofit in North Carolina supporting individuals, families, and professionals concerned with disordered eating and recovery from eating disorders.

The event will be held at One World Brewing’s new location in West Asheville. They will be serving up Bloody Marys, plus all your favorite brunch cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks. Deli llammma food truck will be on-site after the yoga class, offering their locally sourced Gramamma style cuisine with vegan and gluten free options available.

Primal Studios is a movement studio established in 2017, created by Owner Cynthia Sims and co-managed with Creative Director Jenny Roberts. They are currently hosting Buti Yoga classes all around Asheville while they create their new studio location.
