Chuck Edwards announces one primary debate

News release from Congressman Chuck Edwards:
Chuck Edwards, a Henderson County Republican representing North Carolina’s 11th Congressional District, announces there will be one debate in the primary election contest for the seat he currently holds.
Edwards said, “I’m excited to hold my single debate in this race in a far western county where my legislative schedule does not allow me to visit nearly as often as I’d like. The calendar in Washington, DC, leading up to the primary election, appears prohibitive for me to attend nearly 30 forums and debates as I did during the 2022 primary season. We have much unfinished work in DC, and I owe it to the citizens of NC-11 to be present as required.”
“My public service, conservative voting record, and principles are and will remain on full display through my websites, newsletters, and media reports to keep voters informed. I am hopeful that voters match my legislative record and accomplishments against those of my opponent, they will grant me the honor of sending me back to Congress for a second term.”
The debate will be held:
January 13, 2024, 1:00 PM
Brasstown Community Civic Center
255 Settawig Rd.
Brasstown, NC.
