City Council public hearings set for July 26

The following are public hearings scheduled for the next formal meeting – July 26.   This listing is for information only and is subject to change.  Please call City Clerk Maggie Burleson at 259-5601 if you have any questions.

REMINDER – City Council will be meeting in the Council Chamber – 2nd Floor of City Hall.

A. 221 Long Shoals Road
1. Public hearing to consider a land use incentive grant to Millstone Management for 221 Long Shoals Road.

2. Public hearing to consider the conditional zoning of 221, 217 and 99999 Long Shoals Road from Community Business II District to Residential Expansion/Conditional Zone.

B Public hearing to consider  adoption of the South Slope:  A Southside Neighborhood Vision Plan, the City’s visionary framework to help guide continued long-term development of the area.

C. Public hearing to consider closing an unopened right-of-way west of Pearl Street, between Patton Avenue and Hilliard Avenue.

D. Public hearing relative to amending the Unified Development Ordinance to update open space requirements and related amendments.
