City resumes modified ART bus service

RUNNING LATE: Assistant Director of Transportation Jessica Morriss told Asheville City Council members that extending service hours for all bus routes until 10 p.m. will likely be delayed until after the start of the next fiscal year.

The city of Asheville announced its ART transit service will resume on modified routes at noon on Monday, Dec. 10, following weather-related service interruptions. The city posted the additional information below on its City Source blog and social media.
