Dickens In The Village Festival, Dec. 4 and 5

Historic Biltmore Village and Olde World Christmas Shoppe invites you to join us December 4 and 5th as we celebrate “An Old Fashioned Dickens In The Village Festival”

Historic Biltmore Village celebrates Christmas the old fashion way with tree lighting, carolers, and a special visit from Santa.

Friday night:  6:00 PM Over 1000 luminaries will line the streets of Historic Biltmore Village to celebrate the lighting of our 25′ Christmas tree.  The event will feature the Choirs from the All Saints Cathedral and a special visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. There will be freshly made Christmas wreaths for sale, roasted chestnuts in addition to horse drawn carriage rides through the Village and other festive treats. There will also be a gallery stroll featuring all of our galleries until 9:00 PM.

Register to win one of the many gifts to be given away the night of the event on our website at www.historicbiltmorevillage.com/events or that night during the tree lighting.  Limited Edition Historic Biltmore Village ornaments created by a local artist will be for sale that night with proceeds going to Brother Wolfe.

Saturday: 11:00 – 6:00  Located throughout the Village will be strolling carolers dressed in period costumes, musicians, and other lively holiday entertainment. The Montford Park players will be on hand to entertain. There will be freshly roasted chestnuts and horse drawn carriage rides during the day complete the holiday experience.

Some stores will observe extended holiday hours and will be serving festive treats throughout the weekend. “Dickens in the Village” is sponsored by Oppenheimer, Olde World Christmas Shoppe, in addition to the merchant members of Historic Biltmore Village Partnership.
