Dillard’s hosts Fit For The Cure events this March

From Dillard’s:

2014 is our 14th anniversary of Wacoal and B.tempt’d FIT FOR THE CURE events. We are going all out this Spring and would love some support from the local community. Last year we reached a milestone of $1 million in Wacoal donations to Susan G. Komen to help fight breast cancer from Dillard’s events!

For every woman that is fitted at our event, Wacoal will donate $2.00 to SGK (no purchase necessary) and an additional $2.00 for every Wacoal or B.Tempt’d bra or shape piece sold the day of the event. There is a free gift with purchase and new for 2014 we have partnered with Hollye Jacobs. She is an award winning blogger and breast cancer survivor. She has written a moving and insightful guide to the realities of breast cancer that will be published March 18, 2014. We will be selling her book the day of our event. We will hold a special contest that consumers can enter to win. This includes a trip to Los Angeles to meet Hollye with airfare, luxury hotel and $1500 shopping spree.

The event this year will be held on Friday March 7th. FIT FOR THE CURE Events are focused on 3 major objectives: 1) Celebrate breast cancer awareness 2) Have women embrace the concept of the proper FIT in a Wacoal or B.Tempt’d bra (8 out of 10 women are wearing the wrong bra size) 3) Build the connection with our local community. After all, the donations collected benefit women in our LOCAL area.
