Earth Equity Advisors hosts diversity and inclusion event on Oct. 18

Press release from Earth Equity Advisors:

Responsible investment firm Earth Equity Advisors announced that their Speaker Series this year will focus on inclusion.

“Inclusion & the Next Economy: A Solutions Based Conversation with Nzinga Shaw and Betsy Moszeter,” will feature the two thought leaders in a panel moderated by Earth Equity’s CEO, Peter Krull. The free event will take place on Thursday, October 18th at 6 p.m. at The Collider, a nonprofit innovation center focused on catalyzing market-driven climate solutions.

The Earth Equity Advisors Lecture Series is an annual one-night event open to Asheville’s community members, featuring nationally renowned thinkers who provide fresh insights into social responsibility. Being a responsible investment firm, Earth Equity Advisors places equal value on environmental and social issues. Past speakers have focused on the former, and have included thought leaders from Patagonia, Cradle to Cradle Institute, and Green Century Investments. This year, it was important to for the organization to focus on social issues that are reflective of the cultural and political climate.

“We are proud and excited to be hosting our fifth annual speaker series event here in Asheville,” says Peter Krull. “It’s core to our mission to provide opportunities like this where the public can interact with thought leaders like Nzinga and Betsy.”

In her role, Shaw is responsible for developing and embedding diversity and inclusion best practices throughout the organization.
